What A Feast...

A golden browned steak (marinaded in ale) pie on a bed of steamed Portuguese long grained rice with French petit pois and enhanced with a glass of chilled, original John Smiths...

After this vital news is posted (via the new wifi in the Bar Da Rio) I will return to the feast with desert of sundrenched pineapple in a lake of Birds's custard and a Carte Noire coffee (kindly supplied and delivered by Mick and Julie from Leicester.)

Watch out tomorrow for more relevant stuff about magic in general and, if all goes as planned, an article about the most over priced magic effect I have ever encountered which has already paid for itself twice over in the right hands...

Happy Christmas Everyone

After a mad few days which included driving two and a half thousand kilometres, helping with a couple of Luis de Matos Enigma Shows in different theatres in Barcelona, meeting Rodney Piper (the owner) and Lacey (the manageress) of House of Illusion and hanging out with friends for a few hours in Almeria on the Southern Meditarrean coast, I have arrived in the Algarve for a couple of days rest and football watching at Nuno's Sports Bar.

Being Christmas Day I thought I would skip the photo of breakfast and move straight to the proposed Christmas Dinner!

Obviously this is the "before cooking" shot of the feast...

With luck an "after shot" follows

Quite Clearly Heard at the International Weekend..

John Archer, "I'm working with you next Tuesday aren't I?"

Martin Cox, "Yes."

John Archer, "I can't wait..."

Runner Up Quote of the Convention...

"Magic is about having balls and confidence..."

Anthony Owen in his lecture.

Quote of the Convention...

When asked what to do if the thread snaps Dynamo answered,

"Improvise...or don't be a magician."
